ABOUT LUKE TAVA RODRIGUE
Luke Tava Rodriguez is a multidisciplinary artist/web designer from San Francisco, CA. Luke began his photography career studying at UC Berkeley in the Analog Photography extension program before moving to New York City to continue studying Photography at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts. In 2019 Luke began working with The Seismic Collaborative as a Photography Intern and Camera Operations Trainer, and then after working this position for two years he transitioned into a front end web design position where he collaborated with FourFin Creative. After Luke’s work with Seismic and FourFin, Luke began working his current part time position as the in house photographer at Getir US. With a background in digital marketing as well, Luke combines his skills to collaborate with others and bring creative and futureproof ideas to fruition. Luke has worked within the life science, fashion, tech, automotive, financial, and sporting industries to create compelling design, images, webpages, and social media posts specific to a business's goals. Luke’s personal work consists of multimedium/experimental artwork, architecture abstraction, light fixture design, and more!
In 2023, Luke founded the STUDIO TAVA, a full service photo studio in East Williamsburg.
“The relationship between story and art is where I draw the most inspiration for my work. A story cannot be told without visualizing how it will end, and that visual representation connects people to one another, and also to ideologies and missions. If I want to communicate a concept to a friend, relative, or a client, creating an immersive experience for them through words, visuals, and sometimes even music is the best way to be heard!”
