Art

These drawings are just drawings: notes, sketches and half ideas from a stretch when I was a little unhinged. I like Duchamp, Dada, Pollock before the drips, and anything that ruffles feathers more than it explains itself. I don't write essays to sit next to the work. If a piece needs a paragraph about my pain to land, it isn't done.

Physics convinced me we're all experts and amateurs at everything at once, on the scale of the universe. So I put unrelated things together and see what holds. Some pages are wire forms, drawn or painted, then run through a flatbed scanner while it moved. That's scanography, and it's where the rainbow aberration comes from. A few are furniture and clothing mockups. I made one of the tank tops. It looked like caveman clothes. I also built a lamp once, and it was great. No photo of it survives.
